Dr. Allison Arwadi, Chicago-Chicago Health Commissioner, will provide COVID-19 data and vaccination updates on Thursday, including cases related to Lollapalooza.

The four-day music festival, with an estimated 100,000 participants per day, was held at Grant Park from July 29th to August 1st.

The Illinois Public Health Service recommended that unvaccinated people who attended Lollapalooza take the test 3-5 days after the event.

At the festival, concert attendees had to show evidence of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test at the gate. Mask requirements were mandatory for indoor spaces, and masks were distributed in several locations. People were urged to stay home if they had symptoms of COVID-19.
