Chicago – One of Chicago’s biggest block parties, Sundayson State, is back for the first time this year.

The Chicago people crowded State Street in search of a block party atmosphere with dance, live shows, and entertainment, but the rain didn’t stop them.

“It’s in the center of the city,” said August Matthews, a resident of Chicago. “I think it will bring everyone together, and it’s just great.”

Koda Hernandez repeated Matthew’s feelings.

“I feel great,” she said. “I see people get together and look like each other’s atmosphere. Recalling a year ago, this was a ghost town, but now people are gathering. We support together. We are all Feels like one big family. “

Traffic from Lake Street to Madison Street was closed, filled with art, culture, food and attractions. Food stands and business owners were mixed with party attendees and potential customers.

“This is free marketing,” said Eric Atkins of Equal Clothing. “There is no better way than meeting customers one-on-one and handing them over to talk to them. Meet their family, their children. Surrounded by other great businesses that started and grew in the city. I dream of having my own store here someday. ”

The festival is held on certain Sundays until September 12th and lasts from 11am to 8pm on weekends.

The event will be held on the following days.

  • July 11, 18 and 25
  • August 8, 22, 29
  • September 5th and 12th

When you register for an event, you’ll automatically be given a chance to win a $ 1,000 loop staycation package.
